What is a solenoid valve and how does it work?
Solenoid valves, also known as electric valves, are automatic valves that are designed to eliminate the need for engineers to manually operate valves. The solenoid is operated using an electromagnetic solenoid coil to change the state of the valve from open to closed and vice versa. If the solenoid valve is "normally closed", the electromagnetic force generated by the coil raises the valve to the open state when the coil is energized.
