Amisco Type EVI 3P/16 Hydraulic Solenoid Valve Coil


This Amisco Type EVI 3P/16 coil is widely used in hydraulic check valves. Check valves are used in hydraulic systems to prevent reverse flow of oil flow or in pneumatic systems to prevent reverse flow of compressed air. The pilot operated check valve is also called a lock valve or a pressure maintaining valve. It is the same as the check valve to prevent reverse flow of oil. However, we know that the inductance of an air-core coil is different from the inductance of the iron core in the coil. The former is small and the latter is large. When the coil is connected to alternating current, the impedance generated by the coil is not Similarly, for the same coil, when the same frequency of alternating current is applied, the inductance will change with the position of the core, that is, its impedance changes with the position of the core. When the impedance is small, the current flowing through the coil will increase.


2. The reason why the solenoid valve coil is often too warm
When the coil of the solenoid valve is in operation (energized), the core is attracted to form a closed magnetic circuit. That is, when the inductance is at the maximum state, the design time. The heat is normal, but the core can not be smoothly connected when the core is energized. The inductance of the coil is reduced, the impedance is reduced, and the current is increased accordingly. This causes the coil current to be too large and the life is affected. Therefore, the oil is blocked and the action is slow. It can't even be fully absorbed, so that when the coil is energized, it is often in a state where the impedance is less than normal, which may be the factor of the coil.


3. Solenoid valve coil quality detection
Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the solenoid valve. The resistance of the coil should be around 100 ohms! If the resistance of the coil is infinite, it means that the solenoid valve can be energized and placed on the solenoid valve. Because the solenoid valve is energized, the solenoid valve has magnetic properties to attract the iron product. If you can hold the iron product, the coil is good, and the anti-knowledge indicates that the coil is broken!


4. Solenoid valve coil short circuit or open circuit
Detection method: first measure the on-off with a multimeter, the resistance value is close to zero or infinity, which means that the coil is short-circuited or open circuit. If the measured resistance is normal (probably tens of ohms), it can not be said that the coil must be good (I once measured a solenoid valve coil resistance of about 50 ohms, but the solenoid valve can not move, after replacing the coil, everything is normal ), please perform the following final test: find a small screwdriver placed near the metal rod in the coil of the solenoid valve, and then energize the solenoid valve. If it feels magnetic, the solenoid valve coil is good, otherwise it is bad. .

Treatment method: Replace the solenoid valve coil.
